Sharestates is a real estate lending and investing (crowdfunding) platform that brings real estate developers, investors and borrowers in to one single platform. The platform is intended to provide consistent passive income for investors and a fresh source of targeted capital for borrowers.
Summary
The client, Sharestates, wanted a system that would bring developers, investors, borrowers and all stake holders in to one platform and make real estate transaction a quick and hassle - free process. It was also intended to benefit financially every stake holder
For us the key aim was to develop a digital solution that facilitates all its stakeholders and partners to gain increased income from the real estate arena. It was to be a secure platform from where investors could select the exact location and asset class of properties that fit their portfolio, and for borrowers with a non-bank means of funding whether for developing or renovating, or whether for commercial or residential properties

Our Process
Like all our projects, our first step involved a project discovery phase. After several discussions and functionality clearly explained, we moved on to developing mockups of all necessary pages inside the Sharestates web application.With the mockups approved, we got to work on coding and designing the application following the agile development process. Individual features, as requested by our client were incorporated as modules throughout the development. Once we had enough information to create a site map, we created one and used it as the backbone of the web development project.
We also started iOS and Android app development in parallel for the user registration and for the investors to view their investments and the properties open for investments

Finally we were able to successfully host the ‘Sharestates’ application as a complete digital solution that facilitates all its stakeholders and administrators with a portal for their access and references.
This is how the portal for investors work
- Sharestates puts the loan on the marketplace to roll capital back out or sell it to an institutional partner
- Investors view approved projects online and invest in increments of $5,000
- Investors start getting paid immediately, reaping a monthly cash flow

Feedback
The feedback on this project has been highly encouraging. Client was extremely pleased with the website and all its functionalities. The client has decided that we continue to associate with him to manage with website post launch and all future enhancements. Currently the enhancements are going on.
